Chinese Enhancing Course ─ Elementary I

課程目標 |
待補 |
|
課程要求 |
1.準時上課，不要遲到早退。遲到二十分鐘，視同缺課。
Attend the class on time, don’t be late for class or leave earlier than scheduled. The student is considered absent if he/she is 20 minutes late for the class.
2.課中請勿抽菸、喝酒和吃東西。
No alcohol, No smoking and No food allowed in class.
3.除了課程需要，課中請勿使用手機和電子產品。
Except required by the course, no cell phones and No electronics.
4.課堂中不說中文以外的語言。 Only “Mandarin Chinese” in class.
5.專心聽講，勿交頭接耳。 Full attention is required, no chatting in class.
6.準時交作業。Submit the homework on time.
7.記得帶課本。Remember to bring the textbook.
8.尊重同學的發言權和受教權。
Respect classmates’ right to speak and the right of learning.
9.本班禁止任何歧視言行。
Any speeches/behaviors containing discriminations of nationalities, genders, sexualities, cultures, religions, etc. are prohibited.
10.因應目前新型冠狀病毒（COVID-19）疫情發展，上課期間請配合將窗戶打開，保持空氣流通。若有任何疑似感冒症狀，請戴上口罩並及早就醫，保護自己與他人健康。
To fight COVID-19, we will have to keep the windows open during classes to keep the classroom well ventilated. If you have symptoms similar to that of a cold or influenza, wear your mask and go to the doctor as soon as possible. It is our responsibility to protect everyone from infection.

出席及平時表現成績(Attendance and Class Participation) |

※ 無故缺課超過五次則不給予學分，因病或公假須提出證明。
Absent without any reason more than five times will fail the class. Absent because of sick or public affairs should submit a certificate.

平時小考成績(Quizzes) |
20% |
※平時小考包括：每次上課的聽寫考試及每課上完後的複習考試。
Quizzes including listening & writing tests in each class and the test after each lesson.
※每次的聽寫考試在課堂的前十分鐘進行，若缺考不能補考。期末老師會選最好的10次列入聽寫成績。
Dictation will be held in the first 10 minutes in each class and can’t make up. The teacher will pick 10 best scores at the end of the semester.
※小考缺考不予補考，期末老師會選最好的2次列入小考成績。
If miss the test for each lesson you can’t make up. The teacher will pick 2 best scores at the end of the semester.

※作業準時繳交，遲交扣5分。

※期中、期末考無故缺考不予補考，若因病或公假須提出證明並跟老師約時間補考。補考成績以原成績的90%計算。
If you miss the mid-term/final exam without any reason you can't make-up. Absent because of sick or public affairs should submit a certificate and make the make-up time with the teacher, you'll lose 10% of the grade.
